Make more money from your Adsense Sites - 4 Tips For Increasing Your Adsense Income

There are so many people trying their little hearts out to make more money with Adsense, and that just can’t seem to get over that hump. And it’s not really their fault; it does happen. It’s almost as if you have to pay your dues before you hit the big time. But, in reality, the lack of Adsense income generally happens because people don’t put enough time into it, don’t find the right niches, don’t keep their content fresh and a variety of other reasons. These tips should help you increase your Adsense income within a matter of weeks.

Find The Right Niche

If you’re not familiar with the term, a niche is a narrow market that has very low competition yet a reasonable amount of searches. Just to show you, go to Google and type in the word ‘boats’. You’ll get about 74 million results. Do you really want to compete against that competition? No way.

Type in ‘bass boats’ and you’re down to about 2 ½ million. Much better, but maybe still too broad. Change it to aluminum bass boats and now you have less than a half-million results. See the difference? Tighten up your niche and you will have greater success in drawing visitors to you site.

Keep Your Content Fresh and Clean

Google will give you the ax if you try to trick them. When you put articles on your sites, do not just put gibberish loaded with keywords. It’s called keyword stuffing and Google doesn’t take it lightly. Provide good content and add new content on a regular basis to keep the search engines in love with your site.

Promote Your Site

If nobody knows you’re open for business, they won’t come to your site. You have to promote your site and it’s not that hard to do. If you want to make money with Google Adsense, you must invest a little time, and the best way to promote your site is by writing articles related to your site and submitting them to quality article directories. They allow you to have a resource box with a link back to your site, plus, when other people see your articles they are allowed to use them on their sites as long as they leave the link back to your site intact. This viral effect can be tremendous.

You don’t have to write new articles every time you want to submit one. Just take one from your site and change it up a little (spin it) and then change it up a little again for each article directory to which you submit it.

You can and should also submit to major link directories. Look at them and see if they are any good or just a bunch of garbage. Submit a link to your site at the best directories. For these and article directories, just search Google.

Ad Placement

Google Adsense works best in certain places on your web page, and Google is gracious enough to tell you exactly where those hot spots are. Search ‘adsense hot spots’ and you will probably find out where these are.

The best places to have your ads are above the fold; the part you see on the screen without scrolling down. There is a triangle that starts at the top left of the screen, goes to the bottom left and crosses up to the top right. These are great spots for Adsense ads. This gives you freedom to put them on your menu bar, embed them in your content or have them across the top of the page. Text ads perform better than image ads in most cases.
