Google Adsense Makes Sense (And Dollars)
Do you want to own your own work at home online business? You can. I
work from home and people ask me all the time, “What do you do?” I can’t
give them a single statement answer that explains it all. Making money
online takes a lot of commitment and a lot of failure before you see
success, and there are a lot of ways to do it. For me, Google Adsense is
my favorite.
Adsense is a Google program where advertisers are looking for quality
sites with content that they can place their ads on. When one of your
visitors clicks the ad, you make money.
Why? Because, for the most part, nothing could be simpler. Really.
All you have to do is to get an Adsense account, put up a website with
content on it (content is articles and information that people want to
read), and if you can write articles, or hire someone to write them,
you’re in business.
So now you say, “Whoa, partner, you had me until that put up a
website thing.”
No problem there either. You can buy templates, you can get free
templates, and you can get HTML editors that help you build websites.
And you can get many of those HTML editors free. In fact, Google will
even give you a free blog so you don’t have to have a website.
DEFINITION: Blog means web log, which gives you the chance to post
your thoughts, articles and ideas for the rest of the world to see. The
good part is, if you have a blog and the world pays you a visit, they
may click on your Adsense ads and you make money!
If you have a hobby or a specific interest, certainly you can write
about it, right? Are you into pottery, gardening, cooking, or painting?
There are your topics for a website.
The best way to get your Adsense account is to get a blog from Google
and make a few posts on it; like daily, then after a week you apply for
the Adsense account. They will usually give you one unless you are doing
something that breaks their terms of service; like hate articles, mature
adult content, etc.
Once you’ve got that, you’re off and running on your way to telling
that boss at the day job good-bye. Really. Here’s why…
Let’s say you set up one website and it makes you about $3 a day.
This is not the time to kiss the boss goodbye yet, but you’re on your
way because that’s about $100 a month. But, what if you had 10 of those:
that’s $1000 a month – and 100 of them, well, do the math – now it’s
time to tell the boss goodbye, right? And who knows, the more sites you
build the better your odds are of creating one that makes you a few
hundred dollars a month – just for one site!
That’s why you should get involved in Google Adsense. Not only can it
provide a good extra income, but it can eventually set you free
financially. Plus, it’s fun.
To sum it up, you come up with an idea, you start a website or a blog,
you add good articles to you site, you place Adsense ads on your site
and you make money. Is that so hard? Nope. Just be sure … just be sure …
that’s not a typo ... just be sure you NEVER ever do anything to break
their terms of service or you WILL lose your account. Read them and no
what you are doing before you get started. After that, go start making
some sites and build yourself an Adsense empire. |
